How do you work with beginners?
I specialize in helping beginners build a foundation in voiceover technique. Depending on interest, we can cover a variety of genres including commercials, corporate narration, documentary, eLearning, and telephony. And I'm always happy to throw in some cartoon or video game scripts for fun!

Can you train my L&D team in voiceover?
Yes. I am happy to create a class for your instructional designers and training developers. A typical workshop includes an explanation of a few key tools for better voice acting, practice in small groups, feedback for each individual, ear training, and homework. The more information you include in your booking questionnaire on Calendly, the better I can tailor these scripts to your interests.

Coaching sessions run for 1 hour 15 minutes. Each session costs $150. Once your session is scheduled, I will send you an email with an invoice. Payment is due on the day of your coaching.

What is a coaching session like?
I will email you 3-4 scripts for you to prepare beforehand. I may also ask you to record one of the scripts prior to our session, so we can listen to it together and see if there's anything about your audio quality that needs addressing.
In the Zoom session I will ask you to perform a script, and then we'll identify a skill or two that you can work on in that piece. Most likely, we'll pull the script apart, and practice skills on just one or two sentences until you can sense a difference between your first take, and your improved later takes. Then we'll move on to a new script for more fun and discovery. Typically, students read 2-4 scripts in a session, and come away with having practiced the more skillful version of their read several times, so that they feel empowered to practice those skills on their own. After the session, I will email you a copy of my notes from our coaching, as well as recommended homework geared towards your personal goals and skill-building path. |
